Maybe it was because it was easily one of the most beautiful
days so far this fall, or maybe it was because so many people simply needed to
feel normal again after the unexpected “Snowtober” day of the Halloween
weekend. But this past Sunday, the crowds were out at State Line Lookout in
Alpine, N.J., just off Palisades Parkway.
The photo accompanying this post, which I took on that day, shows
the wonderful views from that park of the Hudson River.
